"What got you here, won't get you there." Marshall Goldsmith

This is one of my favorite quotes. 
 
Here’s why I love it:
 
It encourages you to take full responsibility for how and when you got to where you are today. Don’t blame others or your environment. That won’t do any good.
 
Everything you have been doing, and everyone you have been doing it with, have led up to you getting where you are and achieving the results you are getting TODAY.
 
As an entrepreneur, you are likely always wanting the next level. That could be more money, more freedom, or more impact.
 
If you want something different than what you are getting right now, you must do something to create the change.
 
Nothing changes if nothing changes.
 
What do you REALLY want more of?

• Money
• Time
• Health
• Connection
• Relationships
• Purpose
• Impact
• Something else?

 
Define what you want.
 
Create a plan to get there.
 
And decide what, how, and with who, you will execute the plan.
 
One of the greatest anchors holding back my clients’ growth is this:
Having a negative team member who is afraid of growth and fights it.
 
That person may have got you where you are today.
But that person needs to go so you can get to the next level.
 
Question every tool, person, process, routine, and strategy when you are trying to grow to the next level.
 
It will most likely need to change.
